Having a Great Time on Dione,

A painting that took on a life of it's own is the way I feel about this piece. The idea came from the concept of tera-forming a planet so that it's habitable - in this case one of the moons of Saturn - Dione. Other than that I had a lot of fun just painting away on this piece creating

my usual bizarre rock formations that seem to be part of my psyche - I've been painting these since college days. Prints are available of this piece as large lithographs.

Dione was used as the cover for Postcripts spring issue 6 in 2006. Published by P&S Publishing in the U.K.
