Draconic Clanhold
This was a painting commissioned for Dragon Storm Collectible Game Cards. I actually designed the piece to be bigger because I wanted to sell the painting after it was published. The publisher only used the bottom third of the image for the game card.
Here I am depicting the Dragon's lair high up in the mountains, perhaps a very dangerous place to hang out. I wanted to present a piece where the figure is dwarfed by the enormity of the landscape and the tunnel. I felt it worked.
