High Revs

In this painting, I wanted to create a spacestation above earth that would give the sense of how the usual perceptions of stability change, the ground would no longer be level, there would be no gravity unless the station has artificial gravity and there would be an incredible sense of freedom.

You are probably wondering about the name of the piece.

It's two part: while doing research for the space motorcyle here, I went through many motorcyle magazines which kept using the term high revs, of course meaning high revolutions, and I thought, what a great name for the piece, not only because of the cycle but also the space station is revolving around the earth. You can also go a step further and mention the very lovely lady in the painting which makes the name seem even more accurate. Prints available.
