Mysterious Canyon
Some paintings are inspired by landscapes I see that just look too alien to be here on earth. I saw a lovely image of New Zealand years ago and kept it in my files, later I pulled it out and started sketching more elaborate rock formations to add on to the image, it also gave the piece more depth and mystery. The marooned pilot and ship added a story
element to the piece.
