| walking through woods for a 1/4 mile. Our family dog, Sadsack, would accompany me every morning. On this morning however, she topped the hill in front of me, yelped loudly and ran back home. When I topped the hill, I froze when I saw a man in a long tailcoat appearing only in grey colors, he never looked at me, he just walked slowly into the woods. I stood there after he disappeared for 20 minutes then ran like hell past where he had been. I told my mother about it when I got home from school, she paid very little attention, and said that I probably saw some older man walking the woods. I knew different - the man was totally black-n-white! I still remember him to this day. Dean and I went back there, on a trip to Atlanta one Christmas, the path is across the street from the intersection of Stanton and Macafee, there was an old dilapidated house and 3 no-trespassing signs. I went anyway, topped the hill and it was as if these woods had never changed. I took photos but as I stood on that hill the same feeling of strangeness overwhelmed me, we never saw the ghost and were quite happy about that, but the haunted feeling of this place remains with me to this day.
