A Chronicle of a Distant World
Michael Resnick wrote this story and I had the privilege to illustrate it for the Easton Press edition back in 1993. A lot of Resnick's works are parables that parallel our own world but he takes it to a distant world.
In this illustration, you might think Mr. Lizard man is the bad guy but in actuality he is really one of the good guys. A good parallel is made between humans/vs an alien race and our own history of interfering with other races of human beings and the harmony that they have established with their environment.
