Rats, devious sorts and otherwise Unethical human beings:

I got home today, to a rather nasty email from a gallery owner who I have been doing battle with for a long while. I will not mention his name or his gallery since he has threatened to sue me if I say any thing bad about him. I am otherwise very tired and exhausted from working, getting out of debt and trying to steer away from vultures like this man.

It is also beyond my understanding why he feels that he is justified and innocent in his actions and the only conclusion I can come up with is that he truely believes he is a benefactor and has done only good things.

The only thing I have to say, is you need to send paintings back to a person when they ask you to. Number 2, you need to not withhold information on the actual sale of a piece - meaning what it really sold for, as oppossed to what you tell the artist you will give them. Number 3, you need to not harm works while in your gallery by taking off stretcher strips, I mean how tacky can you be.

Other then holding onto monies for a long while, and holding on to the paintings for a long while, I see no benefit to me. I guess this man thinks because he had the works in his gallery it was "good" for me. 2 years of holding my works hostage is NOT "good" for me.

sheez.
