The Ascension
This is my newest piece. Not sure what to say about it but that it is purely a departure for me. I started the painting with a rough idea of the figure in the background and the path. However, as I started painting the path the clouds started appearing, this was last summer. I had some other assignments to do so I let this painting sit for a bit. When I came back to it recently I flushed out the clouds more. I think all in all the painting has a very sensuous feel to it, but at the same time very soft and comforting.
This is the Final piece of the Grey series which includes: The Flying Dutchman, The Unholy, and On the Way to School one Day.
